Cast & Crew

The casting process is very important to my magazine because it directly impacts how people will view my magazine. My models are a reflection of the magazine and my magazine is a reflection of them. Since the start of this process, I have had my cast in mind. I will be the photographer, editor, and writer. My models are my mother and my aunt. They are both Hispanic, entrepreneurs, beautiful, and inspiring. They work so hard they inspired my magazine genre and focus. For my first photoshoot, they were the models. They understood the vibe I wanted for my magazine and executed with their poses. If I need another model, my sister will also join. Here is a picture of my cast including myself:

The best part of working with them is how well we all work together. This is also something that they enjoy because it is an enjoyable process to find outfits together, poses, and locations. My part is the angles, lighting, and focus. The first photoshoot went great and now I can't wait to do a second. After all I have learned, I am excited to see my improvement in comparison to the first photoshoot.
