Today, I will be researching and analyzing different fonts for my magazine masthead. I am going for an elegant, moving font. A font that adds power to my title that focuses on empowering Hispanic women. Serif fonts give the audience a sense of trust and reliability. This is not exactly what I'm aiming for but let's view some fonts and analyze them. I arranged the fonts in order from most favorite to least based on looks. My title will be tested with the fonts.

Bodoni Smallcaps Book is my favorite out of the more than 500 that I researched. I really like the fact that although all letters are capitalized, the first letter in every word are bigger than the rest. It looks serious and executive like a font for a CEO-focused magazine which is basically exactly what I am aiming for. This font is best for a powerful business magazine.

Bodoni Book Italic gives me the vibe of elegant power, confidence, and femininity. This option feels confident while still professional. The italic adds personality and makes the title more expressive in general. It balances strength and elegance extremely well, which fits empowered Hispanic women in leadership. This font is best suited for business, empowerment, and femininity. This makes me feel that Bodoni Book Italic is the best choice.

The vibes of Copperplate Light are minimal and corporate. This option feels clean and professional like a law firm. Compared to the Bodoni options, it feels more neutral and less emotional. This one is best for clean corporate branding, which isn't exactly what I am looking for.
Since my goal is to show Hispanic women as powerful, confident professionals while still embracing their femininity, Bodoni 72 Book Italic is the strongest choice. It is modern and empowering, exactly what Ella Poderosa stands for.
