For this blog post, I created the first draft of my table of contents (TOC). I decided to make two different options so I could compare layouts, styles, and organization. This helped me see what works better visually and which one fits the overall vibe of my magazine, Ella Poderosa, more clearly.

Version 1:

For this version, I opted for the title to be on top, and no figures behind it. I do think it looks less overwhelming than version two in that sense, but it also looks a little empty to me. I decided for both of them to eliminate the original background of the picture to make it all blend together. In this version the text is also a bigger font.

Version 2:

For version 2, I decided to include figures behind the title to make the page feel more full and visually interesting. Compared to version 1, it looks less empty, but it can feel a little more overwhelming because there is more going on. I kept the background removed in this version as well so everything blends together and looks more cohesive. The text is slightly smaller than version 1, which helps fit better with the added elements and keeps the layout more balanced.

Overall, making two versions of my TOC helped me understand what layout is more effective and easier to read. It also allowed me to experiment with different styles before choosing a final design. This process will help me improve the organization of my magazine and make sure it looks clean and professional.
